IVWV****: Full responsibility HV + LV
IVWV**** is the highest authorisation for the person in control of the electrical installation or work activity (installatieverantwoordelijke/werkverantwoordelijke) under NEN 3140 and NEN 3840. You have final responsibility for the full range of work, from end group to main distribution.
Field of work at IVWV****
Think of energy distribution companies, grid operators and large industrial installations where high-voltage work takes place every day. As an IVWV**** you are responsible for complete work plans.
What is tested?
The exam tests both technical knowledge (switching programmes (schakelbrieven), procedures) and managerial responsibility (work permits, liability, reporting).
- Closing/opening ring mains: responsibility
- Live working on HV: when it is allowed
- Coordinating multiple parties (contractors, grid operator)
- Documentation for regulators and auditors
